Jad Dana continues his flawless run in 2024. The Lebanese rider won the 1.50m class at the CSI 4* in Ocala, Florida, yesterday, once again riding Itchcock des Dames (SBS, Marius Claudius x Calvaro). This success comes just two months after his victory in Wellington, demonstrating the excellent form of the pair.
Thanks to a double clear round in the jump-off, clocking 31.67 seconds, Dana triumphed over a strong international field. Portugal's Luis Sabino Gonçalves completed the podium in second place with Gallaxia de Ferval, finishing 44 hundredths of a second ahead. Australia's Sharn Wordley rounded out the top three on Champion League with a time of 33.74 seconds.
This seventh international victory for the Dana-Itchcock Ladies' pair underscores the consistency of these two athletes at the world level. Of the twenty-eight competitors, only five riders achieved a double clear round, illustrating the difficulty of the course set in Florida.
Although absent from the French start to this event, the CSI 4* in Ocala continues to attract the best nations in international show jumping.
