Brazil has officially announced its roster for the World Championships in Aachen. Under the leadership of Pedro Paulo Lacerda, the Brazilian team will benefit from the expertise of Franke Sloothaak, former Olympic champion and iconic figure in international show jumping, who will provide technical guidance to the delegation.
Five riders will represent the country. Luciana Diniz will be there with Vertigo du Désert, while Marlon Modolo Zanotelli will field two horses: Dorette Old and Ilex. Rodrigo Pessoa will bet on Major Tom and Prins Van't Eigenlo. Stephan Barcha will have at his disposal Dinozo Império Egípcio and Primavera Império Egípcio Horses. Yuri Mansur will complete the team with QH Alfons Santo Antonio.
These pairs were selected according to rigorous technical criteria, taking into account performances in international competitions and consistency in their sporting careers. Two duos are currently on the waiting list: Eduardo Pereira de Menezes with H5 London Time, and Pedro Muylaert with Gemme Villers.
This assertive strategy, combining experienced riders and a world-renowned coach, illustrates Brazil's ambition to be among the favorites in this global competition.
