The Mâcon Chaintré CDI3* returns from July 2nd to 5th, 2026 for its second edition. Building on the success of its first year, the Burgundy event will welcome around one hundred horses from nineteen nations, confirming its status as a key competition in France.
This strategic event precedes the World Championships in Aachen by a short time. Many French riders will see it as a valuable opportunity to fine-tune their preparation. Alizée Roussel, Pauline Basquin, Bertrand Liégard, and Alexandre Ayache will be among the French representatives, alongside young talents such as Rachel Bastady, Elsa Maulet, and Lana Portejoie.
The Spanish team looks formidable with the presence of Borja Carrascosa, finalist of the Basel 2025 World Cup, and Juan Antonio Jiménez Cobo, veteran Olympic medalist in 2004. Alejandro Sánchez del Barco will complete this experienced delegation.
Held in the idyllic setting of the Château de Chaintré, the competitions offer free admission for spectators. This clear ambition reinforces the equestrian influence of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region on the international dressage stage.
