The Geneva International Horse Show (CHI Geneva) is marking its 100th anniversary in grand style. The organizers of the prestigious competition have announced the return of the Six Bars event to the program, a legendary discipline that had been absent since 2018.
This spectacular puissance competition will take place Wednesday evening at Palexpo. The format, which remains unchanged, dictates a progressive increase in the height of the obstacles: round after round, the bar rises while mistakes become inevitable. Riders must combine athletic strength and mental control to clear record heights.
"An event that has marked the history of the competition and thrilled generations of spectators," the organizers recall, emphasizing the emotional importance of this discipline for the Geneva public.
The Geneva International Horse Show (CHI Geneva), taking place from December 9th to 13th, also hosts a key leg of the Rolex Grand Slam show jumping series. The Grand Prix, the highlight of the competition, will be held on Sunday afternoon, attracting riders and spectators from all over the world.
