National coach Manon Moutinho has announced an unprecedented mobilization for upcoming international competitions. At the World Championships in Aachen, France will present an exceptional delegation: a senior team, a pas de deux, three male vaulters, and one female vaulter. "It's been many years since France has fielded such a strong team," Moutinho emphasized.
Three years of hard work are bearing fruit despite major obstacles. The senior team had to cope with injuries to Zoé Da Silva and Louis Dumont. Thanks to Haras des Coudrettes, a new top-level horse joined the project in the spring. Lambert Leclezio was also recruited and now strengthens the team.
Meanwhile, the young vaulters are benefiting from an ambitious training program. Five junior individuals and one junior team will participate in the European Championships in Le Mans. The French Equestrian Federation's (FFE) training center in Saumur will regularly host the athletes to refine their programs before the major competitions of the summer.
The French championships in mid-July will serve as the final preparation before the European Youth Championships and the World Championships, three weeks later.
