Kalendae: Last days for the Chantilly Castle show

Par Anastasia ·

The equestrian show inspired by the Très Riches Heures du duc de Berry closes its doors on June 28th. Last chance to experience this medieval immersion.

Fans of equestrian shows have until June 28th to discover "Kalendae, la ronde des heures" (Kalendae, the Round of Hours), a production by the Equestrian Company of the Château de Chantilly. This original creation, presented under the Dome of the Great Stables, offers a poetic reinterpretation of the Middle Ages, blending horsemanship and visual imagination.

Inspired by the famous illuminated manuscript, the show spans the seasons in a one-hour performance. Presented daily at 2:30 pm, it combines horses, traditions, and sophisticated staging to transport spectators to a reimagined medieval world.

Prices vary depending on the package: the combined ticket for the castle, park, museums, and show costs €32 (€26 reduced price). Tickets for the show only cost €24 (€19 reduced price) and include access to the Great Stables and equestrian entertainment.

Starting in July, Chantilly will present "A Day in Paris," an equestrian spectacle celebrating the Belle Époque. This production features carriage driving, vaulting, and haute école riding set to accordion music, portraying Paris in 1900 in fifteen scenes. "Kalendae" will return in the fall, from September 17 to November 1, 2026.
