The stallion's owners denied rumors of a sale following its arrival at Ramatou Ouedraogo's stables.

Rumors were rife after the announcement of Diego de Blondel's arrival at Ramatou Ouedraogo's. Élodie Dufour, co-owner of Vigo d'Arsouilles' son with her husband Stéphane, wants to clarify the situation: no sale has taken place.

At thirteen years old, the stallion remains the property of the Dufour couple, who have received offers over the years but have never given in. "Many thought he had been sold or that he was going abroad. Diego is a horse of our heart, there was never any question of parting with him," says Élodie Dufour.

Diego de Blondel's career is a testament to this: victories at the CSI 5* in Bordeaux (1.45m), participation in the CSIO 3* in Drammen in the Nations Cup, and recently at the French Pro Elite Championship in Fontainebleau. All these memories create a deep bond between owners and their horses.

The decision to entrust him to Ramatou Ouedraogo addresses specific needs. After a previous experience with Nicolas Delmotte, the Dufours understood that Diego requires close human interaction to thrive. His new rider's stables have specifically designed a stall within their facilities – an environment conceived for his well-being and athletic development.
