Two days of sharing and equestrian discovery marked the third edition of the Horse & Diversity Challenges in Lamotte-Beuvron. Organized by the Centre-Val de Loire Regional Equestrian Committee, this event welcomed one hundred and twenty people with disabilities from ten regional medical and social establishments.
Alongside their coaches and families, the riders explored seven adapted equestrian disciplines: pony games, equifeel, equifun, driving, long reining, ride & run, and dressage. The first day focused on playful discovery, while the second offered an official competition serving as a stepping stone towards the French Para-Equestrian Championships at the Generali Open de France Club.
Sponsored by Vladimir Vinchon, a member of the French para-dressage team, the event benefited from the support of the French Equestrian Federation. Frédéric Bouix, president of the FFE, and Carole Yvon Galloux, Horse & Diversity coordinator, highlighted the commitment of more than twenty clubs mobilized for this initiative.
"This edition illustrates our commitment to making horseback riding accessible to everyone," stated Nathalie Carrière, president of the Regional Committee. A performance by the Jumalia equestrian company rounded out this weekend dedicated to inclusion.
