US Equestrian and its selection committee have unveiled the composition of the American team for the 2026 Aachen World Show Jumping Championships. This announcement comes after the withdrawal of reigning world champion Kent Farrington.
Robert Ridland, the federation's selector, has chosen five exceptional horse-and-rider pairs. Katie Dinan will ride Out of the Blue SCF, while Lillie Keenan will be partnered with Fasther. Laura Kraut will rely on Bisquetta for the occasion. Marilyn Little, owner of La Contessa, completes this prestigious selection, alongside McLain Ward and High Star Hero.
This lineup reflects the depth of the American show jumping talent pool, with riders regularly at the forefront of the international scene and horses with established track records. Farrington's withdrawal, despite his status as the world's best jumper, therefore does not weaken Team USA's ambitions at the World Championships in Germany.
The team must now prepare its training campaign for this major event, which will bring together the best teams in the world.
