Bertrand Liégard secured a fine victory in the Freestyle to Music at the Crozet CDI 4*. The French rider, aboard Ginger, a KWPN gelding, achieved an average score of 72.155% to win the event in the late afternoon.
The Franco-Dutch pair proved particularly convincing to the final two judges, who awarded their performance 72.800%. This excellent score allowed Liégard to overtake her compatriot Alizée Roussel in the final standings. Riding Bel Amour, an OLD mare, Roussel finished with 71.275%, well-positioned to compete for the top spots.
The podium was completed by Belgian rider Amandine Prévost and Quaterdance, a DSP stallion who scored 69.115%. This competition highlighted the excellent level of French dressage on the international stage, with riders posting very close scores and demonstrating the quality of their elite horses.
This victory confirms Liégard's steady progress in the CDI 4* circuit, where global competition remains fierce and the demands of Freestyle in Music are ever increasing.
